The House of Slaves, also known as the Cuiabá Mansion, is a historic 17th-century building located in the Cuiabá neighborhood of Nazaré Paulista, very close to the borders with the municipalities of Guarulhos and Santa Isabel. The property maintains its original structure and preserves some of the original furniture from the colonial period, representing an important testimony to the history of slavery in Brazil. The name reflects its historical use as housing for dozens of enslaved people who worked on farms in the region during the colonial period.
