MUSEU DO TELEFONE

Opened in 1976, it is one of the first museums dedicated exclusively to telecommunications in Brazil. It has a collection of approximately 120 pieces that document the history of telephony from its beginnings.

Historical Description

Inaugurated on the centenary of Alexander Graham Bell's invention of the telephone, Bragança was the fourth Brazilian city to receive telephone service, after Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Santos.
