Historical Description

Founded in 1878, formerly known as São João do Curralinho, it was known as 'the city that was born from a festival'. It became an independent municipality in 1958.

Cultural Description

Famous for its traditional June Festival in the Main Church Square and the legend of the Werewolf. It has a Craft House with pieces related to the local culture.
